Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Summarly processes, what it stores, and what it does not store. A full policy will be published before public launch.

What is processed

When you submit a message, screenshot, image, pasted text, letter or document, that content is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a plain-English explanation. It is used only to produce your requested result.

What is not stored

Your submitted document, screenshot, image, pasted message or full generated explanation is not intentionally stored after the check is complete.

What is stored

Anonymous metadata may be stored to help improve the service. This may include: timestamp, anonymous session ID, input type, detected document type, risk label, processing time, app version, whether an error occurred, and basic safety markers. Your submitted content is not stored as part of this.

Third-party services

Submitted content is sent to Anthropic's API to generate the explanation. Anonymous feedback metadata is stored via Google Sheets. Both are subject to their own privacy policies.

No sale of data

Your data is not sold. Submitted content is not used for advertising.
