Terms of Use

By using Summarly you agree to these terms. A full terms of use document will be published before public launch.

What Summarly is

Summarly provides plain-English explanations of messages, screenshots, letters, emails and documents. It is designed to help you understand what something appears to say and whether warning signs may be present.

Not professional advice

Summarly does not provide legal, medical, financial, tax, security or professional advice. Do not rely solely on a result when making important decisions. Always verify important information with the relevant organisation or a qualified professional before acting.

No guarantee of accuracy

Summarly cannot confirm whether a message is definitely a scam or definitely safe. It may miss convincing scams and may sometimes flag genuine messages. Treat results as a helpful guide, not a final decision.

Beta service

Summarly is a beta tool. It may be changed, limited, interrupted or discontinued at any time without notice.

Misuse

Summarly must not be used to create, test, improve, disguise or optimise scams, phishing messages, fraud attempts, misleading content or harmful communications.

Full terms of use will be published before public launch. Last reviewed: April 2026.
